B Meet at James Creek

Wednesday, June 24th

Location: James Creek : 2800 Clovercrest Way,Olney, MD

*Parking/Entrance Details: There is no parking available at the pool. Public street parking is available on Lindenwood Dr and adjacent streets.

There is no parking on Clovercrest Way, so please only park on Lindenwood Drive and adjacent streets. Make sure you are parking legally and not in front of fire hydrants or past the no parking signs. We were told they have residents that make it their mission to get cars towed.

Time: Swimmers should arrive at 5:00pm. Norbeck Hills warm ups will be from 5:20-5:40. First event will begin at 6:00 pm.

Officials and timers meeting is at 5:20pm.

Volunteers: We still need 1 stroke a turn official, clerk of course, a ribbon writer (very easy, and this job can always be finished at home too!), 1 head timer, and 6 timers (13 & o can earn SSL hours; this job can also be split by one person doing the first half of the meet and the 2nd person doing the second half). We can’t start the meet on time unless we have these slots filled! Thanks to all who already signed up!

Food: light concessions and pizza available for those interested and accept cash or Venmo.

Other information:

Norbeck Hills Team area is on the far side of the pool, in the grassy area. There should be plenty of shade, but feel free to bring a tent if needed. Chairs are always encouraged.

There is also space for cheering on the far side of the pool
