Great job to all the swimmers this Saturday. The win against Clarksburg Town Center was a great way to start the season!
A big thank you to each of the parent volunteers that helped make the swim meet run smoothly. We have a big week ahead of us, so make sure to read this whole message. Please declare now for our Wednesday B Meet and Saturday A Meet.
Monday, June 15
Deadline to declare for the Wednesday B Meet is at noon. Teens can sign up for jobs and get SSL hours.
Wednesday, June 17
We will have our first B Meet at Norbeck Grove. Keep an eye out for more information from Dana regarding this meet. This is a great opportunity for all our swimmers to participate in a meet and challenge themselves to better their times.
Thursday, June 18
Pizza pre-orders for our pep rally are due by 5pm. There are cheese or pepperoni pizzas available, and will be delivered at 6pm for our pep rally. Please order here: https://docs.google.com/
Friday, June 19
- First day of morning practice and pre-team
- Morning practices start for all our age groups
- First day of pre-team: There will be a separate email going out to potential coaches and swimmers in the next 24 hours
- Toy Story 5
- It's movie day with the team! We will be going to the 1:30pm showing at Regal Rockville. Please purchase tickets ASAP, we will be in rows J,K,L. Please reach out for ride coordination.
- Pep Rally at 6
- Theme: Toy Story/Costumes
- Come out in your Toy Story, Disney, Halloween Costumes! We will have the pizzas delivered, and celebrate our Swimmers of The Week, Time Drops, and prep for our big A Meet on Saturday.
Saturday, June 20: A Meet at Whetstone
We will be swimming against Whetstone. The address is 19140 Brooke Grove Ct, Montgomery Village MD. Wear your theme gear and come ready to swim fast! We will send more details out later in the week.
A look ahead:
- Monday and Tuesday: We will be tie-dying during morning and evening practices. Please send your swimmer with a white tshirt.
- Guppy Gulch: Watch out for a separate email this week about our team trip
- Relay Carnival, June 28: Please declare NOW if you will be here for Relay Carnival AND email Coach Alba for any questions. This is a big meet we need to start prepping for now.
